We are a family run business nestled in the small market town of Dalton-in-Furness situated in the South Lakes area of Cumbria.
We provide a local hub for musicians from both the supply of instruments and accessories, to a medium enabling the sharing of news and information. We feel that being an integral part of the community is of great importance to us.
The Full Octave specialise in pianos, offering quality instruments at a price we hope you will find pleasantly surprising. We restore grand and upright pianos for clients and for our own well stocked showrooms.
The pianos we restore are often the higher quality English and German instruments which we sell for a fraction of the price of a new piano, giving the customer a broader choice of style and touch.
We offer conscientious after sales care which includes a professional piano tuning service and are pleased to tune pianos over a wide area. In addition The Full Octave undertakes moves of both grand and uprights pianos.
We pride ourselves on our sheet music service. You can order online or if you prefer to be assisted by our knowledgeable staff, call us and we will be pleased to post out to you.
The Full Octave is privileged to have within its staff, members who are college trained musicians and as such they are happy to offer in depth advice on their particular specialities these being Brass,Woodwind and Keyboard. In addition the staff possess a working knowledge of a plethora of other musical instruments.
We are pleased to have recently become one of the relatively few dealers for John Packers woodwind and brass, instruments designed in the UK but with a quality that enables them to perform above and beyond their price range. In addition we also stock a range of new and second hand instruments, for example Buffet, Yamaha and Jupiter.
If you have any musical enquiries whatsoever and you think that we may be able to assist do feel free to get in touch. You can also get involved via our Facebook Page which promotes all things pertaining the local music scene.
We hope you enjoy browsing through our website and should you be visiting the Lake District, you will always be assured of a warm welcome and any non musical friends, can always rest with a cup of tea in our child friendly garden.
