The Full Octave is based in the South Lakes and has built a reputation on providing professional services for all musicians, regardless of their ability. Our shop has a wide range of instruments in stock as well as sheet music, accessories and musically based gifts which we are happy for you to come play, browse or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our family friendly garden.

The Full Octave specialise in offering quality instruments at a price we hope you will find pleasantly surprising. We restore grand and upright pianos for clients and for our own well stocked showrooms. We offer conscientious after sales care which includes a professional piano tuning service and are pleased to tune pianos over a wide area. We pride ourselves on our sheet music service. You can order online or if you prefer to be assisted by our knowledgeable staff, call us and we will be pleased to post out to you.

The Full Octave are privileged to have within our staff, who are college trained musicians and are happy to offer in depth advice on their particular specialities. These being Brass, Woodwind and Keyboard in addition a working knowledge of a plethora of other musical instruments. We are pleased to have recently become one of the relatively few dealers for John Packers woodwind and brass, instruments designed in the UK but with a quality that enables them to perform above and beyond their price range. In addition we also stock a range of new and second hand instruments, for example Buffet, Yamaha and Jupiter.
